This Privacy Policy explains how ScanZip PDF ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use our mobile application.
ScanZip PDF is a simple PDF scanner and compressor app. It allows users to select images, take photos, convert them into PDF files, compress them, save them locally on the device, and share them using the Android sharing feature.
We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information from users.
The App does not require account registration and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personal profile information.
The App may access photos, images, or camera content only when you choose to use features such as selecting images, taking photos, or creating PDF files.
Your selected images, photos, and generated PDF files are processed locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers, because we do not operate any server for this App.
Generated PDF files are saved locally on your device. You may choose to share them with other apps or services, such as email, cloud storage, or messaging apps, through the Android sharing feature. When you share a file with another service, that service's own privacy policy applies.

The App may store PDF creation history locally on your device, such as file name, file path, file size, and creation date. This information is used only to show your PDF history inside the App.
This history data is not sent to us or to any third party. You can delete created PDF files and history items from within the App if the feature is available, or through your device's file manager.
We do not share personal data with third parties.
The App may use the Android system sharing feature when you choose to share a generated PDF file. In that case, you decide which third-party app or service receives the file.
The current version of the App does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking tools, or third-party data collection tools.
If we add advertising, analytics, or similar third-party services in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and disclose the relevant data practices as required.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
Because the App processes files locally on your device and does not upload them to our servers, your documents remain under your control. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Please be careful when sharing PDF files with other apps or services.
The App stores generated PDF files and PDF history locally on your device. We do not have access to these files or history data.
You can delete generated PDF files from within the App if the feature is available, or by using your device's file manager. You can also uninstall the App to remove locally stored app data, depending on your device settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update it, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes.
