SleepLock (“the App”) is designed to help users reduce night-time smartphone usage and support healthier sleep habits.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

The App only processes the following information locally on your device:

  • Lock start and end times
  • Number of blocked app launch attempts
  • Unlock actions and selected unlock reasons from predefined options
  • Subscription status, including Free or Pro
  • App configuration and settings

This information does not personally identify you.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

SleepLock does not collect, access, or store:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number
  • Precise location data, including GPS data
  • Contact contents
  • Photos, videos, or audio
  • Web browsing content
  • Advertising identifiers, including IDFA or GAID
  • Analytics or tracking data through third-party tracking SDKs

4. Purpose of Use

The information processed by the App is used solely to:

  • Provide lock and unlock functionality
  • Display morning and weekly reports
  • Enforce Free and Pro usage limits
  • Ensure stable App operation and support bug fixing

The information is never used for advertising or tracking purposes.

5. Data Storage and Management

  • All data is stored only on your device
  • SleepLock does not operate its own servers
  • The developer cannot access or view your data
  • You can delete all stored data at any time by using the “Delete All Data” option within the App

6. Third-Party Services

SleepLock uses RevenueCat for subscription management.

RevenueCat processes only the minimum information required to manage purchases and subscription status.

The App does not use advertising SDKs.

7. Permissions

Android

The App may request the following permissions:

  • Accessibility Service: Used to detect launches of selected apps and display the blocking screen.
  • Display over other apps: Used to show the blocking screen during active lock periods.

These permissions are used only to provide the App’s core functionality.

8. Data Sharing

SleepLock does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.

9. Children’s Privacy

SleepLock is not intended for use by children. If a minor uses the App, it should be done with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as necessary. If material changes are made, users will be informed through the App or the relevant app store listing.
